Summer Camp for children 5-12

We run weekly summer camps for children ages 5 - 12 for 6 weeks. This year the camps will be starting July 7, 2025 and run until August 15, 2025.

FOOD BANK COORDINATOR

Part-Time: 10 hours/week on average

 We are looking for a part-time food bank coordinator. The coordinator must be a team player, flexible, patient, able to give directions as well as take them, be highly organized,

S/He must people-orientated, have computer skills, have good time-management skills and able to multitask.  S/He must be able to maintain a good working relationship with Feed Nova Scotia and monitor all food stored at the food bank, maintaining inventory, assuring proper storage and optimal distribution to avoid wastage, and disposal of any spoiled foods. S/He will support volunteers in working together to maintain the food bank and work in maintaining food bank client files confidentially and treat all food bank clients with dignity.  S/he will assist, when necessary, with other program delivery for inclusive work environment.  S/He will provide people with available resources within the community and perform other duties and task as required of the position.
