A place of hope, friendship and help…
St. Paul’s Family Resource Institute (FRI) is a community based non-profit organization that offers love, caring and compassion to neighbours within its Spryfield, Nova Scotia area.
For more than 30 years, the FRI has offered free programs and advocated to improve conditions for low-income residents within the community. Projects include a weekly emergency Food Bank, Food Bank Café, a large Community Garden on the property, Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, a Christmas hamper program, spring and summer camps for children 5- 12 years-old, and a Christmas toy store.
Operating out of the lower floor of St. Paul’s United Church, the FRI welcomes newcomers and offers assistance to anyone in the area.
